The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree as both of Ejshani’s parents are music teachers. Also, his brother is a great drummer who fueled and sparked Ejshani’s love of rhythm and percussion.
“My songs are vehicles for storytelling and telling my story. They are also my way of illuminating my love and respect for women……I am authentically vulnerable, sometimes radical….sharing joy, pain, love, and hardship that only music can communicate,” says Ejshani (pronounced E-JSHON-KNEE).
Ejshani stands firm on the power of the principle that “it’s all about the song…..” When asked what that means; “specifically”, a smiling Ejshani replied, “Listen to the song……you will feel feelings you forgot you had.”
